Introduction
Welcome to the Appointment Module of our OnAppoint plugin, your go-to destination for effectively managing your appointments. This versatile module empowers you with key functionalities such as adding, editing, changing the status of appointments, and a search feature.
- For offline customers who prefer not to book online, the appointment module can also be employed by on-site staff, making it easy to manage appointments in person.
- An appointment module can include an email notification feature that sends booking status updates to customers. This can enhance communication and customer experience.
The employee's end, the display those appointments that are exclusively assigned to that specific employee, ensuring they only see and manage their own appointments.
Let's explore the core features:

Adding an Appointment
To create a new appointment,
- Click on the Add Appointment option.
- In the Customer section, select the customer for the appointment.
If the customer is not listed, you can create a new customer.
If you choose to create a new customer, fill in the following customer details: Email, Name, Phone, and DOB. - After selecting or creating the customer, choose the service. You can select from the available services.
- Next, select an employee from those assigned to the chosen service.
- Once the service and employee are selected, you can choose the appointment date. The available dates are based on the employee's availability.
- After selecting the appointment date, choose the appointment time slot.
- Specify the appointment status (e.g., pending, approved, rejected, canceled, completed).
- Add any additional notes or comments in the 'Note' field.
You can save the appointment to confirm the booking.


Editing an Appointment
To modify an existing appointment:
- Hover over the customer you want to edit.
- Navigate to the Edit Appointment option.
- Modify any details as needed, including customer, service, employee, date, time, status, and notes.
Save your changes to update the appointment.

Changing the Status of an Appointment
To change the status of an appointment:
- Click on the Status option.
- After clicking Status, you'll see a dropdown menu where you can select the desired appointment status.
- After selecting the status for the appointment, the change will be applied successfully.

Customer Detail Popup:
- Hover over the customer you want to edit.
- Navigate to the Detail option.
- When you click on the Detail button, a convenient popup will display essential customer information, such as their name, email, phone number, gender, and address. This feature is designed to provide you with quick access to vital information, making your appointment management more efficient and customer-centric.
