Introduction

The summary Section in the attendance module gathers all employee attendance data in a user-friendly format. It also provides an option for members to view their own attendance records for added convenience.

The user-friendly format allows for easy attendance recording and a quick understanding of the data at a glance, making it simple to grasp the recorded information.

Key Features

  1. Attendance Summary:
    Provides a clear overview of each employee’s daily, weekly, and monthly attendance status, including presence, absence, and late entries.
  2. Check-In and Check-Out:
    Admin can mark attendance of the employee.
  3. Checkout Request:
    If an employee forgets to check out, they can submit a checkout request with a valid reason.
  4. Attendance Report:
    Administrators can generate and export detailed attendance reports for specific employees or time periods.

Steps to manage Attendance

To access the Attendance Module, simply locate it in the sidebar as shown in the screenshot below:

  • Attendance Summary - In this section, employees and administrators can easily view their attendance summaries for different months. Administrators and individuals granted permission can access the attendance records of all employees, while others can only view their own attendance records.
  • Check In / Check Out -In this section, employees and administrators can effortlessly check their attendance data displayed in a table for various months. Administrators and those with specific permissions can access attendance records for all employees by selecting the employee's name from a highlighted box. Meanwhile, regular users can only view their own attendance records.

This section allows you to add multiple attendances for selected dates. To do this, simply click on "Mark Attendance" on the page, and a canvas will appear. Fill in the required details, click "Save," and you're all set.

You can also import attendance from an Excel file. Simply click the "Import Attendance" button, which will open a form where you can select the file and the month for which you want to mark attendance. Click "Save," and you're all set.

Checkout Request

Allows users to submit a checkout request with a valid reason if they forget to check out, enabling admins to review and take necessary action.

You can track and analyze attendance records for all employees with advanced filters and export the report to Excel.
